Is the iPad screen replaceable?

I did not know what happen to the iPad. All I know is that I use it this morning. It was fine. I bet my son dropped the iPad. I noticed that he went to the garage this morning to get his football. He must drop it in the garage. I was putting my jacket while he is in the garage.

is the iPad scree replaceable?

We wait for the school bus. I was reading a book while he is playing the iPad in the bus shed. I grabbed the iPad when the bus came and went inside the house. I leave it close until later I found out that the screen of the iPad has cracked. I do not know if the screen is replaceable or not. I am not going to buy a new iPad. This gadget is very expensive. The kids can still use the iPad though I am not comfortable them using it. They might get a cut to their fingers.

We had our digitizer screen replaced early last year and it cost around $182.29 to do that. The screen broke again a few weeks ago but this time, I ordered a digitizer screen replacement for less than 30 bucks. Will let you know if we got it sorted out once my order arrived.

The screen is replaceable but it’s not a fun project. Like most apple products with screens, everything is glued together. Removing the glass even with a heat gun to loosen the glue is a real pain.
Assuming the LCD is not cracked, you will just need to purchase the glass+digitizer, which is fairly inexpensive. The connectors are very fragile, so handle with care. There are videos all over youtube with guides for screen replacement.
I’ve replaced screens on an iphone, ipad, and macbook pro for clients, and I’ll never do it again. It’s just not worth the effort.
